Mr. Hang serves as the Director of Finance for Private Investments. Prior to joining Maverick in 2024, he served as Head of Portfolio Finance at Kleiner Perkins, a venture capital firm, where he led the firm’s portfolio monitoring and finance function. Before this experience, he was in Business Operations and Finance roles at Amazon. Previously, he was part of the Valuations/Business Modeling, Financial Due Diligence and Assurance groups at Ernst & Young. He received his Bachelor of Accounting and Financial Management and Master of Accounting from University of Waterloo. Mr. Hang holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation, is a Certified Public Accountant and a Chartered Business Valuator.
